Born in 1984 in Vinh Phuc, Thai Nhat Minh graduated from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 2009, and went on to obtain his Master degree in 2012. Minh began his career as a sculptor during his university years, and until now he has had almost 10 years of artistic experience.

His works examine the fundamental aspects of form-making and focus on the process of simplification; details are often replaced by suggestive shapes and blank surface. Not relying heavily on the content, Minh rather seeks for new ways to find the connection between form, space and material in his works.

Thai Nhat Minh had four solo exhibitions in Hanoi: ‘Seeds’ – Dong Phong gallery – 2016; ‘Soldier – Soldier’s Wife’ - Vietnam Museum of Fin – 2016; ‘Breeding Season’ - Manzi Art Space – 2014 and ‘The birds’ - Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts – 2013. In addition, he has participated in various group exhibitions and art fairs in Asia.
