Born in 1999 in Dak Lak, Le Thi Anh Yen is currently doing her final year at Ho Chi Minh University of Fine Arts.

Using silk as the main medium, Yen's artworks focus on human figures, particularly young females in normal activities (bathing, combing hair or simply resting) with a desire to disclose the uncommon grace and beauty largely overlooked in the banality of everyday life. Her depictions may appear idyllic in the traditional sense, yet by no means clichéd with a peculiar combination of seemingly enchanted settings and the exposure of human body in its purest form. The characters in Yen’s paintings always bear the breath of time, they are  emotional, innocent and sometimes almost fragile. For Yen, art is the only honest way to capture emotions, affections in the moments and to express herself
